Ontario’s insurance industry spends millions to lobby the government and convince the public that lawsuits are out of control. In fact, over the past 15 years the benefits available to seriously injured people has been continuously eroded and become complicated, bureaucratic and extremely difficult to pursue in a timely way.
OTLA uses its limited resources to try and provide a counterpoint to the information disseminated by the insurance industry and to educate the public on what has been happening to the insurance coverage they think they are paying for.
